WWII Japanese Hinomaru Flag – F196

Given to Japanese service men as a gift, these flags were signed by friends and family with a short message wishing the soldier victory, safety, and good luck. This cotton example measures 34”x 26”, displays excellent symmetrical writing portrayed as rays emanating from the rising sun, and is complete with the reinforced corner tie ends. There is a little bit of age to the fabric in a couple spots, though not all that detracting. Here is a real period example among a sea of fakes that are often offered on the market today.   $365.00
