Among a sea of fakes, here is a SS Totenkopf insignia that you can take to the bank as being period produced during the infamous 3rd Reich era. Manufacture out of aluminum, the surface of this TK does show some light oxidation and age. Though not entirely all that bad, considering that both original fastening pins are still intact. The reverse is properly marked RZM 499/41, for this insignia firm’s contract number. SOLD
