Transitional NSKK Dagger by Eickhorn – D1089

These transitional Storm Trooper’s daggers have taken off in popularity the last few years, especially those produced by the Eickhorn edged weapon firm. Here is a desirable NSKK version in this listing.

An excellent grip begins the description of this mid period transportation corps NSKK dagger. Typical for Eickhorn factory during this era of production, the handle has been cut from a section of fine oak wood. The high contour ridge grip is in excellent condition, being void of any chips, splits, flakes, or actually any pressure marks per se’. As a transitional piece the handle is equip with a nickel silver eagle as well as the same for the SA runes button. Both of those insignia are in good condition, and have been expertly set straight and flush to the wood. The upper and lower crossguards display plenty of age and surface patina, as nothing has been cleaned nor polished on this untouched dagger.

The scabbard to this Eickhorn NSKK is in good shape, being void of any hits, dings, bends, or dents. The factory black period enamel exhibits the typical surface crazing and spidering, though still rates strong at 90%. Both upper and lower nickel plated fittings are in place, and show the same surface age matching the hilt components exactly.

A nice blade completes the description to this dagger. It remains full length, straight, void of any major pitting, sharpening, or cuttings edged chips. There a few surface age specks here and there as noted in the photos. Though for an untouched dagger in its entirety, it’s nothing all that detracting. An excellent deep Alles fur Deutschland motto is beautifully etch straight down the center of the obverse of this blade. On the reverse is not only the RZM contract number for the Carl Eickhorn edged weapon firm, but also their famous squirrel logo trademark as well.

A nice untouched transitional NSKK, by the most premier and famous edged weapon firm during the infamous era.     SOLD
