SS Visor TK by Zimmermann – I125
Among all of the fake SS insignia that collectors see on the market, rarely does a legitimate period example get offered that you can bank on. Though look no further, as the Zimmermann Totenkopf in this offering is not only guaranteed to be from the 3rd Reich era, it has the condition which reeks early quality as well. Die struck in Cupal construction and toned beautifully over ¾ of a century, this visor skull portrays the look which collectors love to see. As shown, bits of copper peek out from the aluminum foil on the obverse of this skull insignia, giving it an ominous appearance. The foil itself has also taken on a light gold appearance as well. Both factory attached pins are present, full length, and void of any repairs. On the reverse is the RZM contract number for the Fritz Zimmermann firm, the company which manufactured this TK; 499/41.
