SS Vertical Hanger – A726

While I have encountered these hangers on a very limited number of early SA daggers in the past, this is the first occasion I have ever encountered the SS version of the M33 vertical hanger. This is an exceptionally rare accoutrement, featuring not only the distinctive coffin-shaped leather base, but also the custom arched section that fits against the obverse of the upper scabbard fitting.

The backstrap is reinforced by three dome-head rivets, which secure the large steel upper clip firmly in place. Although the small horizontal cross-strap belt attachment shows some cracking around the mounting holes, it remains intact and retains its full original length.

An exceptionally desirable and extremely scarce early SS dagger accoutrement, this is an example that is seldom encountered and unlikely to be seen offered elsewhere. $995.00
