SS Vertical Hanger – A726

While I have only seen these very few times in the past to be used on an early SA dagger, this is the very first occasion I’ve ever encountered the SS version of these M33 vertical hangers. This is an extremely rare accoutrement which incorporates not only the coffin shaped leather base material, but also the custom arched section which butts up against the obverse of the top scabbard fitting. The backstrap as shown is reinforced by 3 dome head rivets, which hold in place the large steel upper clip. While the small cross strap horizontal belt device shows some cracking at the holes, it is still very much intact and full length. A very desirable early SS dagger accoutrement which you are not likely to see offered anywhere else. $995.00
