SS Stick Pin by Hoffstatter – M441

Offering a decent example of a rare SS pin by the Hoffstatter firm. These pins are very desirable with collectors, and about dried up from the market place. At least the period examples have. Where a ton of fakes are offered all over the place, as many collectors are aware of. The silvering to the SS runes and dual perimeter border circles remain strong on this ZA. Though the black enamel background color remains vivid, it has taken a surface hit. In lieu of that it’s still a very nice pin all in all. On the reverse can be seen the company name, address, and recipients number. Completing the pin assembly is the knurled needle and spring catch. With this pin comes a vintage storage box that would be similar to what one of these SS pins would have been stored or kept safe in. By no means is it being represented the original ZA box to this pin, though makes a wonderful period container to display it in. The box with simulated black leather covering exhibits wear and age as shown in the photos. This is a nice set, all complete, to display with your SS collection. SOLD
