SS Officer’s Brocade Rig – B175

Offering an excellent SS officer’s belt and buckle set, in truly beautiful condition. So many of these gorgeous bullion laden belts have been kinked and bent over the years, or suffer detracting oxidized surface powdering. Not this one. The ornate outside SS runes & oak leaf design remain in outstanding condition throughout, while also retaining flexibility and uniform shape. On the inside the green velvet backing is just as nice, displaying just the lightest amount of age. Both original keepers are in good shape and complete with this belt, as well as the full leather tongue adjuster. This set is matched to a zinc SS officer’s buckle which has survived the test of time. As many collectors are aware of, to find one of these war time buckles with this kind of original factory finish is nearly impossible. If these zinc buckles are not broken or cracked, they almost always have had their surface paint absorbed into the base metal. This Overhoff example is one of the best that you will ever see.
