SS FM Pin Back Emblem by Deschler – M428

For those individuals of the Allgemeine SS political party who did not take part in active duty per se’, but instead contributed financially to the organization, these Förderndes Mitglied der SS lapel pins were given out. Organized by the Main Economic & Administration, monthly monetary contributions were expected to the local SS headquarters in the home district that an individual lived. The enamel to the surface of this pin to include the SS runes superimposed over a silver swastika, flanked by the letters FM, is in excellent condition. On the reverse is the customary pin, catch, and hold down, which is the typical and seen with these period emblems. As usual for the Germans, the back is profusely stamped and shown to read: A 14598, Ges Gesch, Deschler, MCHN. 9. These pins are small, but draw quite an audience who collect them. SOLD
