SS Dagger Grip – A661

As many collectors are aware of, the fragile handles particularly on early SS daggers have always been a problem. Though many have faired in good condition over the years, just as many have suffered irreparable or unsightly damage. In this offering this may be the solution for a collector out there with a badly damaged SS grip, one that is missing the insignia, or even a dagger minus the grip all together. While not without it’s own problems, it may be better than what you presently have. Both emblems are nickel silver, and original to this handle. The eagle as shown has some wear across the head of the bird. The wood remains fairly decent, though does show a chip out of the reverse. Additionally, there may have been some type of repair around this upper section and neck area. It still displays pretty decent in lieu of those two items mentioned. Finally, the tang hole through the center of the wood has not been altered nor enlarged.    $850.00
