Small Gosch Harbor Flag by Grefrath – F178

This is a nice .50 x .85 (33” x 19”) Gosch NSDAP flag which was flown on subs, E-boats, and other small water craft while in harbor, when party officials were on board. The material is in good shape, displaying just a few extremely minor pin holes. Other than that, it is void of any rips, tears, or fraying. Where as the red dyed is vivid in color, the white sections have yellow a bit over the years. The top & bottom edge is properly line stitched reinforced, as well as the end of the flag too. In addition the typical square patch reinforcers can be observed next to the lanyard enclosure. The rope hoist is intact, with both end loops complete. Lastly the flag is nicely marked with the size and maker’s name.  SOLD
