Silver Tank Destruction Badge – M463

Offering a decent Type I, silver tank destruction badge in this listing. These highly sought after awards were earned by soldiers who dare take on an enemy tank on their own, by using a hand held panzerfaust or by attaching an explosive charge to the moving monster. The badge is comprised of a silver bullion strip of fabric, with top and bottom black cotton horizontal running stripes as borders. In the center is pinned a tank emblem resembling a panzer IV. The obverse bullion material and magnetic tank remain in beautiful condition. Where as on the reverse the green mesh covering the metal reinforcing plate, is shown to have a section missing.
