RZM SA Dagger by Weyersberg – D810

This listing is for a nice RZM period Storm Trooper’s dagger in fine condition. It starts out with a grip that displays subtle tiger striping that truly has a beautiful effect. Carved with high profile center ridge contour, medium brown color, in the photos you can see the striping on both side. This grip is in excellent condition, void of any splits, cracks, repairs or missing material. In the center of the obverse is fine aluminum high neck eagle. It displays excellent detail, considering how soft of metal that this emblem is made from. At the top of the grip the SA runic is in nice shape. It is the early variety which is made out of nickel. Finally, the crossguards are the plated variety seen during this production timeframe. In spite of this later material used for the hilt hardware, these components have held up pretty decently.

The scabbard to this SA is in fine condition. It remains straight, void of any hits, bends, or creases, with excellent period dark brown enamel paint rating 97%. The plating on both the upper and lower fittings has been nicely preserved, as shown in the photos. They are held secured to the shell with the proper factory dome head screws.

We finish up with the description of this dagger with the blade. It remains full length, void of any tipping, polishing, buffing or cutting edge chips. In light of the fact that there is some surface aging and runner marks, this blade still projects a nice fine line crossgrain on both sides. Beautifully etched and nicely burnished straight down the obverse is the SA Storm Trooper’s motto; Alles fur Deutschland.  SOLD
