Rare SSVT Tunic Eagle – C261

These particular eagles are referred to as the “hammerhead” variety, and a very desirable variation for the SS cloth collector. This insignia exhibits not only double thick ply construction thickness, but also the remains of the RZM tax paper on the reverse. The silver thread embroidery has toned dark with age, as this eagle was definitely sewn on to an SS tunic during the war. It is a killer example, and seldom offer in this nice of condition.  SOLD
