Rare Maker SS Brassard with Tag – C295

As the title mentions, the Hersteller 23 manufacture is quite uncommon to find associated with these Allgemeine armbands. This textile firm was also know to have produced high ranking SS general hand embroidered collar tabs during the era as well. Though exhibiting light wear and age, the construction is very well done, as well as showing where this armband was cut from a black tunic at one time. The red base material remains in good shape, void of any holes, rips, tears, or mothing. Both the ribbed folded and sew black swastika, as well as the center white disc, display very nicely on this armband. Each being uniformly centered and stitched. As a typical designation for these Allgemeine SS armbands, the top and bottom of the red body base displays separate ribbed black edge borders. Looking at the inside, you can see the threads which once attached this armband to the tunic which it was worn on. Lastly, the nice paper RZM tag that this brassard was issued with is shown opposite the obverse disc / swastika. A beautiful example with a lot of character!  SOLD
