Personalized WWII Japanese Combat Helmet – H234
This is a beauty of a Type 90 Japanese helmet from WWII. Unlike so many of these lids which collectors encounter, the exterior factory period paint remains strong on this example and displays exceptional including the original star being in place. On the interior the liner is complete and to include the leather, 6 fingers, pads, chinstrap, and drawstring. There is a slight separation at the reverse where the liner wide frame straps have curled and separated the 3 small stitches which hold it. No biggie, as everything is in place. And as a nice bonus this helmet is also attributed to a rather famous sur name from Japan, Yonezawa. Not all that easy to find a decent WWII Japanese Type 90 combat helmet. Here’s a nice one for you. $1650.00
