Personalized FJ Takedown Knife by Weyersberg – D1162
A decent example of the desirable Type II takedown Wehrmacht gravity knife. The oak grip panels are in good shape, void of any splits, cracks, or missing material. They have been enhanced with the owner’s name on one side; H. Finke. Whereas the other side initials; HF. The Weyersberg marked RB Nr blade remains in good shape, with typical darkening from use. In spite of that it is full length and void of any detracting sharpening, chips, or tipping. If shaken the blade will extend just a small bit, not all that big of deal, as it extends and retracts properly with a nice stiff release lever. The same is true for the marlin spike. It will shake out just a little as shown in a photo. It is void of the Waffenamt which is occasionally noted with these late produced utility knives. There is a stiff cord lanyard with 2 clips attached to the D ring bale. Nicely stamped and matching numbers 332 are shown to the head, body, and blade shank. A 3rd Reich manufactured and completely matching personalized Type II gravity takedown knife. SOLD
