Nickel SS NCO/EM Buckle by Overhoff – B180

This is an excellent as well as desirable example of an early nickel SS buckle which was produced by the Overhoff firm. It remains in beautiful condition overall, with a striking even patina over the surface. The reverse side is just as nice. It is complete with the proper brass catch and steel prong bar. It’s interesting that once small piece of hot wield slag must have dropped on to the reverse of this buckle when the catch was being attached. It looks like a little gold nugget! SOLD
