Messerschmitt Vertical Stabilizer Cut Off – G262

This is a super neat item measuring 11 x 11″ and profusely nailed to a piece of old shellacked fiberboard. Yes, in fact it is the cut off from the vertical stabilizer of a ME109, in which the vet in his own handwriting proclaims and wrote on the wood between the arms of the swastika; “I cut this swastika out of a tail of a fighter plane Me-109, May 26, 1945” And that truly says it all. One of the neatest examples of these rare souvenirs from WWII that I ever remember seeing, being in this hobby for many years. $3995.00
