These are rare. Or shall I say, at least the period manufactured examples are. Yes, this is the real deal, a desirable 3rd Reich produced SS vehicle pennant, complete with the hardware which was used to affix it to the antenna. The 11 ½ x 6 ½ ” double sided medal plaque remains full length, just as it was used during the infamous era. Though the paint shows plenty of edge corrosion, spidering, and bubbling to the black enamel, the off-white circled SS runes is what this truly what this neat display item is all about. As mentioned, the robust antenna clamps are bolted solid to the factory folded reinforced metal strip section at one end of the pennant. The one clamp is stamped with the RZM code of the firm primarily responsible for manufacturing these SS placards; Max Knobloch GmBH in Dobeln; RZM M 3/61.
