M40 Luft Single Decal by ET – H203

For those who like the untouched look, yet far from relic condition, this M40 Luft is for you. The exterior feldgrau paint displays a muted unclean look to it, as nothing has been cleaned nor touched on this helmet since being returned as a souvenir after WWII. An excellent eagle in flight transfer has held up remarkedly well on this shell, and remains strong at 90 %. It is nicely centered to the vent hole, applied both uniform and straight. On the inside rim skirt, the left side is stamped ET66, and at the reverse with a lot number of 336. The liner band remains uniform around the interior, and void of any kinks, bends, or breakage. It is held solid by 3 super tight straight split pins with their corresponding washers. A fine supple leather liner is shown with all of the fingers intact, and properly held by the original drawstring. Lastly, a full length supple chinstrap completes the interior liner system.  This is a nice un-touched M40 Luft helmet, in it’s entirety.   SOLD
