M40 Combat Police Helmet by Emailler – H188

Offering a double decal SE64 police helmet in this listing. The shell has a worn but clean appearance to the factory feldgrau smooth texture exterior on this lid. On the left side of the helmet, the heavy lacquered police decal remains in fantastic condition at 98%. As shown, it has been applied uniform, straight, and centered. On the opposite side the same is true of the swastika transfer. Moving to the interior, the left side of the skirt is stamped with the maker initials and size; SE64. Though at the reverse the lot number cannot be read, as it is under an old name tag. While the liner shows age, use, and wear, all of the fingers remain present as is the drawstring holding them. The liner band is uniform and the proper oval shape, void of any kinks, deformity, or breaks. It is held in place by 3 straight split pins and their corresponding washers. An early aluminum buckle chin strap completes the liner system. It is full length and supple, though a bit tired with age. SOLD
