M24 WWII Grenade by von Hagen Munitions Firm – G256
Where these grenades were available all over the place in the past, that’s not the case anymore. Just recently at the MAX there were no WWII examples anywhere that I saw, and only 2 of the WWI’s. Well, here is a fantastic M24 as they are called, in this offering. This marked evy manufacture is complete with the string, porcelain ball, end cap and canister with exceptional factory paint. And a first for me, even the pull cord friction ignitor wire which would attach to the delay fuse, is present on the opposite end of the string. We never see this component still intact on these desirable display items. And if that isn’t enough for you, this M24 is even equipped with the rare fragmentation sleeve slid over the head of this grenade. A stunning M24 “potato masher” in its entirety! SOLD
