M24 Stick Grenade – G254

Offering an excellent example of a deactivated war time manufactured Model 24 German stick grenade. The head has been cleanly cut with all of the filler properly removed. It is 42 stamped as shown in the photos, with fantastic original paint rating 98%. The brennzunder friction igniter is displayed at the end of the threaded section of the stick handle. It has been cut as to disarm it, though the aluminum threaded section still present. Something rarely seen with these deactivated M24 souvenirs. The rain cap is tight to the 42 dated hard wood factory treated handle, making this example an excellent display while void of being wobbly or loose. The end cap is the friction spring type, it too also fits tight to the metal fitting which is screwed to the wood. Finally, the porcelain ball and string are in place, making this M24 a very nice complete example.  SOLD
