Luftwaffe Tear Drop Hanger – A700
This is a rather unique accoutrement which would go excellent with either a 1st or 2nd model Luft dagger display. Manufacture by the Richard Ehrhardt leather firm who was noted for making and selling fine sidearm holsters during the era, this 7” hanger is a super neat belt hanger. It also served a purpose to protect the wearers uniform while wearing their edged weapon. I suppose it certainly could have been worn with a Luft sword as well. It exhibits beautiful construction throughout, with all the stitching in place. Additionally with fantastic period brown dyed leather. The reverse is nicely stamped with the manufacture’s name, address, and 1937 date. $175.00
