Hitler Youth Leader’s Buckle and Brocade – B177

As the title states, this is an HJ leader’s dress brocade and buckle complete. I seriously doubt that this set was ever issued, as both RZM tags are completely intact, and are shown to be so in the photos. Additionally, the leather adjuster tongue is like new, void of where the prong bar would have moved or been readjusted in any of the other selection holes. The bullion material is in fine condition, void of detracting major kinks or creasing. It has a couple specks of surface storage age, but that’s about it. Additionally and all importantly, it is void of any surface corrosion or powdering. On the interior the brown lining has some small spots of missing material. Once again, not all that obtrusive. As expected, both bullion keepers come with this belt, and they too are in excellent condition, and snug to the belt to keep them properly in place. An excellent silver wash officer’s buckle is included with this set. It has some storage darkening on one area of the obverse. That aside and as most collectors can attest to, the finish is truly outstanding for one of these HJ leader’s buckles. Though not shown, the catch on the reverse is intact and bears the stamp of RZM 4/22; that indicating this set was manufactured by or for the Christian Dicke uniform supply firm. This is the same code seen on the RZM paper tax stamp stapled to it. You don’t all that often find an HJ leaders brocade and belt set as nice and complete as this one.  SOLD
