Hitler Youth Knife by WKC – D900

Having a hard time finding an HJ knife with the motto on the blade in decent condition these days? We are too for that matter! Here is a Transitional example in this offering that is a solid representation of what you may have been looking for. The hilt to this youth knife is in average condition, exhibiting some surface oxidation that is not all that detracting. As most of it is confined to the rear side of the pommel and the end of the quillion. An excellent set of checked grip are firmly riveted to the spine of this edged weapon, trimmed and fit with precision. The reverse plate design even has some dirt the lower section. No doubt when the youth played chew the peg with it during the era 🙂 A beautiful little grip diamond is in near perfect condition, void of any hits, chips, or enamel damage. A great little scabbard accompanies this HJ. It is the blued variety of which the shell finish  is very strong at 95%. Showing basically just a little surface oxidation and on obverse tip scuff. The leather hanger is intact, with all areas securely riveted. And lastly the blade. It is full length, void of any unsightly chips, tipping or over excessive wear. The surface is muted and scratched where the knife was probably stuck in the ground like all kids do with such a cool knife like this. And showing some light edging too. That aside, it remains with a very nice factory darkened Blut und Ehre motto as you can see from the photos. The same goes for the dual trademark of WKC edged weapon firm along with their RZM code, M7/42 and the date, 1937.       SOLD
