Hitler Youth Knife by Henckels – D1236

This is an early wartime manufactured HJ knife which was produced by the Henckels edged weapon firm. The hilt exhibits typical wear and age as most of these kid’s knives do. In lieu of that, both grip plates are in excellent condition, remain neatly trimmed, and tightly riveted to the spine of this knife. The all-important Hitler Youth diamond is in fine condition, void of any hits to the enamel. The scabbard which accompanies this knife is in very nice condition, exhibiting fine period black enamel that remains very strong on this shell. The same goes for the leather hanger. It is properly riveted to the scabbard and includes the original functioning hold down strap and snap. In light of the fact that the blade shows some surface age, it still remains full length, straight, tight in the fittings, while being void of any tipping, sharpening, or cutting -edge chips. The blade is stamped RZM 7/10, 1939. This is a decent example, if you happen to have been in search of one of these youth knives. $750.00
