Hitler Formal Pattern Flatware Knife – G234

Here is an excellent example of a dinner knife from the large set presumed to had been gifted to the Fuhrer for his 50^th birthday. As collectors may know, these settings were distributed to his yacht, personal train, Munich apartment, Eagles Nest retreat, and other locations around Germany where he frequented. This 10” inch dinner knife is in excellent condition, displaying a nice even patina over it’s surface. The obverse is shows with the decorative Greek Key interlocking edge pattern, and down wing eagle in relief. Under the bird is the Fuhrer’s initials; AH. Up under the blade / grip shoulder, is shown the 800 silver stamp and crown / eagle, the period symbols known on these flatware pieces. A super nice uncleaned example. SOLD
