Heer Officers Visor – H195

Offering an excellent standard class army officer’s visor in this listing. The more course nap exterior material remains in very nice condition, displaying light age overall, though no mothing. The piping is a medium green which I believe to designate the department branch of Wehrmacht administration.  As shown in the photos, this visor has a gorgeous saddle shape to it, which no doubt was done by it’s owner to give it a neat jaunty appearance. Both emblems are nicely toned and have been expertly set centered and straight on the obverse front. The bullion chin cords lie tight and uniform, and are held in place by the silver pebbled side buttons. Though the Vulcan fiber visor section shows some scratching and wear, it is firmly in place while being void of any reinforcing other than the period sewing. On the inside the lining, sweat band, and sweat diamond components are just as attractive as the overall cap itself. Showing just the slightest of age. There is a manufacturing name on the sweat diamond, though it is worn beyond what the camera could pick up or show. A nice looking visor with a killer look which collectors love to see.    SOLD
