Heer Officer’s Buckle and Brocade – D224

This is an excellent Army officer’s dress brocade belt and buckle in this listing. The round die struck aluminum un-marked buckle is in near perfect condition, displaying fantastic detail to the eagle and oak leaf relief obverse. It is complete with the sewn aluminum catch to the belt as well. As for the 44″ (105cm) brocade itself, the bullion remains certainly nicer than most, while being void of any corrosion or powdering oxidation. On the interior, the dark green felt is just as nice, as is the full-length leather adjuster. Though it is equipped with 2 slides, they don’t exactly match, as it appears that one is a replacement. The belt has been folded in the past and no doubt has been displayed in this fashion. $350.00
