Early Storm Troopers’ M33 by Knecht – D1262

Though coming in at a 7 on the rarity scale, on a condition scale this beautiful SA is definitely at least a 9! Have a look.

A gorgeous grip begins the description of this E Knecht introductory SA. The wood remains in fantastic condition, devoid of any chips, cracks, splits, repairs or anything else. The smooth wood is laden with an attractive light and dark grain running throughout it on both the obverse and reverse sides. On the lower section of the reverse is shown with what is presumably the initials of the owner of this fine edged weapon, “E H”. As pictured, the letters are lightly carved into the surface of the wood rather neatly. The grip emblems consisting of the nickel silver eagle and SA runes button are in wonderful condition, exhibiting exceptional detail to each. As for the crossguards, both remain smooth to the touch with a muted un-cleaned patina shown over their surfaces. Truly a beautiful grip and hilt assembly on this early desirable Storm Troopers dagger.

An excellent scabbard accompanies this fine edged weapon. The shell is straight, void of any dings, creases, splits, bends, or hits. The original period factory brown oxide chemical coating is very nice indeed, as you can see that in the photos. To add to that fact, this scabbard still retains 50% of the original protective clear lacquer as well. Both upper and lower nickel silver fittings are in fine condition, displaying the same muted surfaces which match the hilt hardware to a tee. The ball on the lower chape has one small hit to it.

Finally, we get to the blade. Say no more, because it’s a screamer!

Grab this one……….I kid you not, you won’t be disappointed!   RESERVED
