Early SS M33 Dagger by E Pack – D1175

For as many SA’s that the large, edged weapon firm of Ernst Pack manufactured during the 3rd Reich era, they certainly did not put out all that many introductory SS dagger during the same time period. Here is one of those elusive early makers if you have been on the hunt for one.

An exceptional grip begins the description of this M33 SS dagger. The wood remains in a wonderful state of preservation, being void of so much as anything which would be considered a pressure mark. Both the high neck nickel eagle as well as the sinister looking SS runes are in fine condition, with only the later showing a little crazing to the black enamel. Both upper and lower crossguards are smooth to the touch, while taking on a golden undisturbed patina over the years. As nothing has been cleaned nor polished on this edged weapon for nearly a century. Man, what a beautiful grip and hilt on this beauty!

The scabbard to this Pack SS dagger is in good condition. While it does exhibit some surface oxidation, the shell remains straight, void of any hits, splits, creases, or reconditioning. Both upper and lower nickel fittings are in place and solid to the shell, albeit for the later taking a bump on the ball.

Finally, the blade to this early SS dagger is un-touched, as with every other component of this edged weapon. The blade remains full length, straight, void of any polishing, buffing, tipping, sharpening, or cutting-edge chips. In lieu of some light surface imperfections, those are overshadowed by the killer dark burnished Meine Ehre heist Treue motto etch.

A nice, uncleaned nickel silver dagger, with a maker not all that often encountered on an early SS. $5495.00
