Early SA Dagger by F. Dick – D1197
This is the listing for a beautiful looking nickel silver SA dagger in every respect. And that begins with the gorgeous grip displaying an attractive light and dark grain flowing through it. The wood is in fantastic condition, devoid of any damage that I see. Both the eagle and the SA runic are in excellent shape, exhibiting very nice detail. The hardware has a muted dull appearance over their surfaces, as nothing has been cleaned nor polished on this dagger since being returned home as a souvenir from WWII.
A fine scabbard accompanies this F. Dick early Stormtrooper’s dagger. The shell remains straight, void of any hits, splits, bends, or dings. The factory chemical brown oxide finish has held up nicely on this scabbard, and that includes a fair amount of protective lacquer over it. Both upper and lower fittings are in excellent shape, with a patina that matches the hilt hardware to a tee. And as a nice bonus, there is a fine early snout nose hanger complete, buckled through the upper fitting ring.
Finally, the blade: SWEET!
A beautiful, edged weapon, all the way through. $1750.00
