Early SA by Ohlinger – D1213

Here is a rather rare maker from an obscure manufacture of the early Storm Troopers daggers, Ohlinger.

The grip to this early nickel silver SA dagger is a sheer beauty. The smooth wood is in fantastic condition, void of any chips, cracks, splits, or missing material. It’s lighter color is laden with dark grain and lines giving it a most pleasing tiger stripped appearance. A beautiful toned high neck eagle has been expertly placed in the center of the obverse. The bird is in near perfect condition, showing virtually no wear what soever. At the top of the handle next to the upper crossguard, a fine looking SA runes button is shown very much in the same condition. Both upper and lower crossguards have take on a striking toned patina, beautifully matching all of the nickel silver components of this edged weapon.

The scabbard to this dagger is in excellent condition. It remains straight, void of any hits, splits, bends, or dings. The factory brown anodizing is about as nice as you could ask for on an edged weapon that is nearly 90 years old! Both upper and lower fittings are in good shape, held tight to the shell, and have taken on the same hue as the hilt crossguards.

We finish up with the blade. It remains full length, straight, void of any tipping, sharpening, buffing, or cutting edge chips. A bright factory surface graces both sides, and loaded with a fine line crossgrain from hilt to tip which collectors love to see. The Alles fur Deutschland motto is perfectly executed. On the reverse is exactly the same in regards to the trademark.

A fairly rare maker for these early political daggers, and truly in excellent condition. RESERVED
