Early SA Stormtrooper’s Dagger by F. Dick – D1287
This is an excellent SA dagger all the way through, with an attractive muted patina which some collectors love to see. The beautiful dark grip on the hilt of this edged weapon is in fine condition, void of any splits, cracks, chips, repairs, or any other damage. Both nickel silver emblems have been set flush and straight, with refined detail to each. As mentioned, the hardware both on the hilt of this dagger as well as the scabbard have taken on a nice undisturbed patina over the last 80 years, when this SA was taken as a souvenir from WWII.
The scabbard to this SA remains straight throughout, void of any hits, dings, bends, or splits. Though the photos don’t project it, I can assure you that the brown chemical oxide process is far better than portrayed in the pictures. Both upper and lower nickel fittings perfectly match the patina shown on the crossguards.
Finally, a beautiful blade completes this desirable, untouched early nickel silver SA. Highly recommended, as this one has the look! RESERVED
