Early Hitler Youth Knife by Klaas – RC159

Here is a very collectible HJ knife, the likes of which collectors have seen grow in popularity the last several years within the collecting community. The hilt on this one reflects the early prewar quality, as the plating is exceptional, exhibiting surface wear from only the scabbard hold down strap. The grip plates project a beautiful dark black color, while being expertly trimmed and tightly riveted into place. A fantastic early HJ diamond completes the assembly in fine fashion. The scabbard to this youth knife displays average wear and use from the time it was no doubt proudly worn by its owner during the infamous era. In spite of that, the shell still retains 85% of the original factory period black enamel. Though showing age, the complete hanger is still intact. Finally, the blade. It’s a sweet example to complete this untouched HJ knife with desirable Blut und Ehre motto etch! A nice example! $1175.00
