Double Decal M35 Luft SE64 – H216
This is a good-looking helmet all the way around, with definitely a combat used appearance to it. While the exterior of the shell displays a muted blue-green color with consummated wear and age, it still remains very strong at 90%. Both the eagle as well as national transfers have been uniformly applied straight and have held up nicely on this early prewar produced helmet. On the interior, the shell skirt has been marked with the manufacture’s initials / size SE64, as well as the lot number 4286. As for the aluminum reinforced liner band, it nicely follows the circumference of the shell and is void of any breaks, kinks, or bends. It is firmly held in place with 3 factory split pins and their corresponding washers. While the leather exhibits wear and age, it still remained supple with all of the fingers intact. A period drawstring and full-length chinstrap completes the liner system. A desirable straight forward model 35 double decal Luftwaffe helmet. $2295.00
