Double Decal M35 Army by Quist 64 – H231

Here is one that has not been all pawed upon and over the top shinny like so many M35 Heer helmets that we often see. The exterior though having some oxidation spots is pretty damn nice all things considering. Both decal transfers have been applied straight as well as centered to the vent holes, and rate exceptional on this lid which was manufactured by the renown Quist helmet firm. On the inside skirt it is stamped Q64, with a lot number of 4630. The reinforced aluminum frame uniformly circles the interior and is void of any kinks, breaks, or bends. It remains firmly held by the 3 un-touched split pins with their corresponding washers intact. As for the leather, it’s in excellent condition with all 8 fingers intact, save for one that has had the drawstring pulled through the very tip end eyelet. The original drawstring is present as shown, in addition to the short end of the chinstrap. Try finding a double decal M35 Heer lid these days, the price has gone absolutely crazy on them.
