Adolf Hitler Formal Pattern Demitasse Spoon – G236

Here is an excellent small coffee / cappuccino size spoon from the large set presumed to had been gifted to the Fuhrer for his 50^th birthday. As collectors may know, these settings were distributed to his yacht, personal train, Munich apartment, Eagles Nest retreat, and other locations around Germany where he frequented. This 4 ¼  inch formal pattern spoon is in fine condition, displaying a dark undisturbed patina over it’s surface. The obverse is shown with the decorative Greek Key interlocking edge pattern, as well as a down wing eagle holding a swastika in relief. Under the bird is the Fuhrer’s initials; AH. On the reverse is the Bruckmann company manufacture proofs consisting of a crown, 800 silver stamp and eagle; the period symbols known on these period flatware pieces. A nice uncleaned example of a smaller spoon, not all that often offered. SOLD
