M40 Single Decal Heer Helmet by ET 64 – H236
This is a very nice example of a 3rd Reich model 1940 single decal army helmet in this listing. The factory exterior paint remains strong on this shell, while displaying an attractive muted patina over its entire surface. This shell is untouched, being devoid of any cleaning, oiling, or any alterations. The decal transfer remains very strong on this helmet, while nicely set straight and centered to the vent hole. Looking at the inside, the rear skirt is marked with what appears to be the soldier’s name, Kinze. The steel liner frame is nice and tight, held firmly in place by 3 straight split pins and their corresponding washers. As for the leather, it is in good condition throughout, with all the fingers intact and the ends held in place by the original drawstring. The liner system is void of any rips, tears, or rodent damage. A full-length chinstrap completes the assembly. A fine single decal M40 for your collection. $2295.00
