Even when collecting 3^rd Reich edged weapons when it wasn’t as popular as we know it is today, daggers in the condition of this Eickhorn Luft were not all that plentiful. With a beautiful orange grip which is highlighted by the dark toned fittings, this desirable look certainly projects an appeal to the hilt assembly on this edged weapon. Furthermore, take a look at the gorgeous period gilt to the pommel on both of the swastikas. It’s a rare occasion that collectors will encounter this stunning extra period enhancement to these components. There is a little bit of age to the surface on the blade, which is hardly worth mentioning, and one slight tap to the very tip.
