Export/Post War Hitler Youth Knife – D1231

Though made with period components, these HJ’s bearing the “Germany” stamped blades were sold as souvenirs after the war. This example, as shown, is equipped with the exact same HJ diamond as found on original HJ’s manufactured during the period. It fits nicely in the grip plates which are riveted to the spine, though have become a little loose. The solid nickel hilt is in decent condition over all as shown in the photos. This knife is equipped with a period scabbard that it is housed in. It’s exactly the same as what you will encounter with those manufactured during the era. The shell itself and leather hanger are in fine condition, and worth the price of this knife alone. Interesting enough, as with the blade the lip of the scabbard is stamped Germany in tiny little letters above the rivet. Though dark with age, the blade still remains full length. $275.00
