Rare Maker M33 SS Dagger by E. Pack – RC151

For as many SA’s and SA Rohms this edged weapon firm manufactured early on in dagger production, collectors do not all that often encounter all that many SS examples. Here’s a nice one in this listing.

A very typical shaped grip for this manufacture begins the description on this very nice Pack SS. The high ridge profile slender shaped handle is in fine shape, being devoid of any splits, crack, repairs, or missing chunks of wood. As usual for early Pack political daggers, the nickel silver eagle is of the high neck variety. Both it and the SS runes button remain in fantastic condition, with wonderful preservation and detail to each. The hardware on the hilt of this SS is in fine condition, have taken on an undisturbed patina over their surfaces, and fit the beautiful grip to a tee. As a side note that I just noticed, the underside of the crossguard is stamped with the Allgemeine soldier’s number 219040. I’m not sure if any research has been done on this number, though it might be worth looking into by the next owner of this edged weapon.

A killer scabbard accompanies this M33 Ernst Pack produced SS dagger. The shell remains perfectly straight, void of any hits, dings, creases, or anything else. The chemical oxide bluing process is absolutely fantastic. And it that isn’t enough for you; this shell still retains 98% of the protective lacquer over its surface! Both upper and lower nickel fittings are in excellent shape and have the same matching patina as the hardware on the hilt of this dagger. Through the upper fitting ring is a nice 2-piece early SS hanger. That’s a $400 accoutrement alone if you can even find one available on the market for sale.

A beautiful blade puts the final touches on this early nickel silver introductory M33 SS dagger. It remains perfectly straight, full length, void of any buffing, polishing, tipping, sharpening, or cutting-edge chips. The surface has the typical runner mark we are all familiar with and a litle age at the tip, though nothing is all that detracting. In lieu of how un-common this maker is to locate when it comes to an SS dagger. Finally, a gorgeous dark burnished Meine Ehre heist Treue is shown perfectly etched straight down the center of the obverse of this blade.

This is an extremely nice edged weapon in its entirety.   $6795.00  RESERVED
