Mid Period SS Dagger by RZM 807/36 – RC130

This is a nice example which was manufactured during the transition era of edged weapon production in Germany. The dark grip to this M33 SS dagger is in fine condition, devoid of any splits, cracks, missing chunks of wood, or repairs. Both the eagle as well as the SS runic are excellent, displaying a muted patina over their surfaces. Both upper and lower have the same uncleaned look, as nothing has been polished on this entire edged weapon. 

The scabbard to this mid period SS dagger is nice shape. The shell remains straight, void of any hits, creases, or bends. The period factory black enamel has held up nicely, showing only minimal wear, while showing the typical spidering of period paint. Both the lower and upper nickel fittings are in good condition as shown, with an undisturbed muted patina that matches the hardware on the hilt.
