Untouched Early M33 by Boker – RC117
For the purest who wants an un-touched, un-cleaned Boker SS, here it is. As always, the fitment of the grip on this firm’s SS daggers are second to none. And this one doesn’t disappoint one bit. The wood remains in excellent shape, void of any splits, cracks, missing chunks, or repairs. On top of that, both emblems are just fantastic, exhibiting average minimal surface wear. The fittings are all green with age, as nothing has been touched on this dagger since being returned from WWII as a G.I’s souvenir.
The scabbard to this dagger is in very nice condition, with the shell being void of any hits, dings, splits or bends. The surface displays excellent factory chemical bluing, and 90% of the protective lacquer too boot! Both upper and lower nickel fittings remain with a thick muted patina, exactly matching the hilt hardware. As a very nice extra, there is an early vertical early hanger which accompanies this excellent scabbard.
The blade to this desirable Boker SS is like everything else on this edged weapon, un-touched and un-cleaned. The blade is full length, void of any sharpening, buffing, cleaning, or cutting-edge chips. An absolute killer dark burnished Meine Ehre heist Treue is shown beautifully etched straight down the middle of this blade, in true Boker fashion. The reverse of the ricasso is shown with the art deco tree trademark. A logo known for their product excellence even today.
