3rd Reich M24 Stick Grenade by Rinker – G276

So many of these period stick grenades are rarely matched in regard to the metal can head, and that of the handle. The reason for that is when disarming these devises, the 2 components were usually tossed into separate piles after the igniter and explosive charge fillings were removed. For the most part it certainly doesn’t make these 3rd Reich stick grenades less desirable, it’s just nice to occasionally have one that is matched. In this offering is the exception to the usual rule. As both the stick and the head are both stamped “43 brb” the code for the best-known company that produced these M24’s, the Richard Rinker firm. Though aged with patina, the metal component match nicely, with the rain collar tightly pressed into the wood handle. The can portion of this stick grenade still exhibits about 50% of the factory paint to its surface, and not one of the ubiquitous ground dug examples often encountered.  The fuse cylinder and pull cord are removed from this example. This is a nice one for your display.  $875.00
