Early M33 SS Dagger by Boker – D1204

You say that you want a Boker SS dagger, but the price has become prohibited of ever hoping to do so? This might be your opportunity.

The grip on this Boker SS is as nice as one would ever hope to find on one of these desirable edged weapons. The wood remains in fine condition, void of any major imperfections to speak of. Oh, it has a couple of the ubiquitous small little hair lines and light pressure marks usually associated with these brittle handles, though void of any repairs or major chunks of missing material. The high neck nickel silver eagle as well as the sinister SS runes button are in good shape, and display nice detail to each. Both the upper and lower crossguards are shown with a dull muted patina, as nothing has been cleaned on this edged weapon since being returned as souvenir after WWII.

The scabbard to this M33 is like every other component is virtually untouched. The shell remains straight throughout, void of any hits, creases or splits. The original factory blue oxide finish is intact, as the sheath has not been re-painted nor touched up. The surface exhibits some surface oxidation. Both upper and lower fittings are in good shape and properly held tight to the shell of this scabbard. Through the upper fitting ring the original short hanger is present. The small slack gathering loop is gone to time.

Lastly, we finish up with the blade. It remains straight, full length, void of any sharpening, tipping, or cutting-edge chips. The surface does exhibit some darkening and staining, exactly as one would expect to see with virtually an edged weapon brought home and put away 90 years ago. In lieu of that an excellent black burnished Meine Ehre heist Treue remains nicely intact.

For the purest, this one has that nice un-touched look to it!  $4995.00
