Extremely Nice Hunting Association Horn – G271

As the title implies, this is a real nice little example which was used to gather the men for the start-up of the hunt, or that it’s time for the much-awaited feast! It is complete with not only the personalized green leather wrap usually seen with these Jaeger horns, but also the rarely encountered leather belt hanger carrying strap and clip as well. On the front of the bell is the 3^rd Reich swastika in the center of a starburst pattern which is surrounded by a set of upward pointed antlers.  And last but not least the inside rim of the bell is engraved with the distributor’s name and address: Musik u Radiohaus Warnke Hutfilterstrasse 10. As luck would have it, our astute business partner and expert on hunting / forestry edged weapons Gary Southgate, just so happened to find not only a photo of an ad for these horns, but also the picture of the of the store front of the distributor who actually sold this exact instrument!
