M35 Double Decal Army SE64 – H217

Sweet lord, not much to say on this fine-looking helmet other than what the photos show. The exterior paint remains strong on this example, with excellent coverage even to the top of the crown. Both decals are in wonderful condition, being applied uniform, centered, and straight. The inside skirt is stamped with the maker’s initials and size; SE64. Where the rear section bearing the lot number 1200. The reinforced aluminum liner follows the inner circumference nicely, whicl being void of any breaks or bends. It is held firmly in place with 3 straight split pins with their corresponding washers. All of the leather is intact and still remains supple to the touch. The ends of the 8-finger system have been gathered by what appears to be the original draw string to this liner. Finally, the helmet comes with a later period chinstrap which has been shortened. A beautiful double decal Heer, with that perfect look.  $5895.00
